Trio Pødenphandt, Egelund & Carlgren presents:
“Yo soy la locura”
From the guitar´s home country, Spain, we have put together a wide and contrasting program with folk rythms and virtuoso temperament. “Yo soy la locura” (“I am madness”) is the first phrase of Henry le Baills song from the Renaissance and thus invite the listner on a journy through Spains warm blooded culture.

Annemette Pødenphandt is a lyric soprano with a warm, personalized and rich sound, she debuted at the Royal Academy of Music in October 2016 where she has studied with Bodil Oland.
Annemette embraces a versatile repertoire and interprets with great authenticity different styles, from lieder and opera to contemporary music. She is also a passionate entrepreneur and has, inter alia, together with puppeteer Astrid Kjær founded theater AniMaNi, which will premiere on their first performance “The one you feed”, with music and lyrics by Lasse Schwanenflügel Piasecki, in November 2016. She has also premiered several works by composers such as Kasper Rofelt, Nicklas Schmidt and Line include Tjørnhøj with the respected Belgian Ensemble Musiques Nouvelles,
Along with guitarist Mikkel Egelund she forms the acclaimed duo Pødenphandt & Egelund and has released an EP with Dísir – a modern medieval ensemble.
In addition, she has soloist at the Copenhagen Opera Festival, assists in DR’s concert choir and is permanently assigned soloist in Trinity Ensemble, with whom she later sang Buxtehude Membra Jesu Nostri and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater.

The award-winning guitarist Mikkel Egelund Nielsen was born and raised on the island, where as 8-year-old started playing guitar at the Bornholm music school. He has since played concerts nationally and internationally. This being both as a soloist and in chamber music contexts.
Mikkel graduated with top marks from the Royal Academy of Music with Frederik Munk Larsen and from the prestigious music conservatory in Cologne “Hochschule für Musik und Tanz, Cologne” at the legendary and world famous guitar professor Roberto Aussel. He is currently studying in the soloist class at the Royal Academy of Music with Frederik Munk Larsen and the Spanish visiting professor Marco Socias.
Mikkel has participated in numerous festivals and been a finalist in several major international competitions worldwide. Most important may be mentioned here 1st prize at the London International Guitar Competition 2013. One of the largest international awards a Danish guitarist ever won.
